In the fall semester of 2019 Ph.D. scholar Anne Sofie Børsch from the Danish RefugeesWellSchool team has completed a research stay at Boston College School of Social Work where she has contributed to the Research Program on Children and Adversity (RPCA) lead by Professor Theresa Betancourt.

One of RPCA’s current projects focuses on the promotion of the wellbeing of refugee children and adolescents by developing, implementing and evaluating interventions in collaboration with Somali-Bantu and Bhutanese refugees. Anne Sofie was involved in the ongoing collaboration with representatives from the refugees groups and in the development of tools to train peer research assistants in qualitative research.
