Recently, Emma Soye successfully defended her PhD at the University of Sussex, guided by her promotor Prof. dr. Charles Watters. Her PhD, entitled ”Difference and encounter: Psychosocial support and secondary education for young migrants and refugees in the UK”, draws on the work Emma did within RefugeesWellSchool, but also critically looks at ’integrationist’ framework RWS has been using.
